The Uppsala wood heater is an extremely efficient clean burner fitted with 200 kg of natural soapstone, one of the best natural materials for heat absorption and retention. Wood usage is low at around 2 kg per hour. The Uppsala is made by top-quality German manufacturers Haas & Sohn. It is a great investment and the perfect choice for a larger home as it can comfortably heat areas of up to 280 m2. The long ember retention of more than 10 hours is one of the highest amongst the Euro Fireplaces range. This high heat retention means you can very efficiently keep your house warm day and night, and in most cases, the Uppsala will keep on heating your house for many hours after the fire has gone out. The soapstone cladding also gives this European-styled heater a lovely soft curved appearance which looks great with the large portrait-shaped viewing window. It also has a handy log storage compartment underneath the firebox.
